Consultation for new play area - Bourne Place, Denby

We are very excited to share this amazing news!

As part of the new housing development off Danesby Crescent, the borough council has received funding to create a brand-new play area on the open space near Bourne Place.

With the support of Denby Parish Council, AVBC reached out to reputable playground suppliers to design a new play space to complement the existing Danesby Rise Play Area. The focus has been on steel equipment that promotes inclusivity, including items for younger children, such as a playhouse and a roundabout designed for multiple users.

Playgrounds are not only fun and great places to meet and play with friends and family, but they also encourage children to stay fit, healthy, and socially engaged.

We would love your help in choosing the winning design, which will then be supplied and installed by the selected provider in late 2024 or early 2025.
